Account Sales Manager - Exclusive Distribution Model

DSI, a dynamic sales enablement company, is seeking a driven Account Sales Manager (ASM) to join our thriving Exclusive Distribution Model (EDM) team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving impressive sales results for our client's products across your designated territory. As an ASM, you will be the vital link between sales and training, collaborating closely with our partners and management on behalf of our client. Your responsibilities will include conducting engaging classroom-style training, participating in side-by-side selling sessions, facilitating informal group training, and generating enthusiasm for sales and growth opportunities. Your success will be measured by positive sales metrics, relationship building, timely reporting, and your overall contribution to the program. Responsibilities:Collaborate with partner representatives, owners, and senior management to drive and enhance sales of the client's products and services. Utilize direct training techniques, observation, side-by-side selling, and customer interactions to demonstrate effective sales strategies and promote the client's current offerings. Educate management on effective selling techniques through direct interaction with employees and customers. Proactively develop and implement motivational contests, sales goals, challenges, and incentives to boost performance. Analyze sales visits and outcomes, provide actionable suggestions, and present methods for sales growth to the client. Regularly visit offices, provide support to underperforming representatives, and help drive sales growth. Deliver exceptional service to representatives, owners, and customers, showcasing your extensive product knowledge. Ensure adherence to presentation standards for partners and clients, providing outstanding client service and follow-up. Forge strong relationships with partners in your assigned territory, grounded in integrity and sales expertise. Become the EDM business subject matter expert, covering technology, plans, promotions, sales techniques, best practices, computer systems, online tools, and activation procedures. Document and quantify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate challenges and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Identify and report challenges and solutions through detailed online reports within 24 hours of field activities. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly performance goals as set by management. Requirements:Demonstrated experience in sales and leadership roles within outside sales channels, with a strong background as an Account Sales Manager in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment. Proven track record in positions such as Direct Manager, Manager, Sales Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Branch Manager, Manager Trainee, Assistant General Manager, or Outside Sales Manager. Comfort with various training methods, including 1:1 and classroom-style training. Ability to motivate teams and sales representatives through strategic action plans and performance evaluations. Exceptional leadership qualities with a commitment to mentoring and coaching sales teams to success. Strong communication skills, a robust work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for technology. Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, unstructured work environment. Effective communication, analytical, and presentation skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday events as needed. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience meeting sales quotas and an operational understanding of the retail business is a plus. Familiarity with the wireless industry and technology is beneficial. Schedule:Fieldwork 4-5 days per week, including weekends. Expected travel of 3 weeks per month, with 1 week working from the home office each month.
