At our plants in Germany, the USA, China and the Netherlands, we produce intermediates and derivatives.Job PurposeWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This internship provides hands-on experience across core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, talent management processes, compliance, and administrative support.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources. The intern will gain exposure to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and process improvement initiatives while supporting day-to-day HR activities.This role will operate in alignment with the Group's Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as company policies, guidelines, international standards, IT systems, and HSE standards. The position reports to the HR Talent Director.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAssist with recruitment activities, including updating job postings and coordinating interviewsSupport onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive new hire experienceResearch, recommend, and support implementation of employee records management practices in compliance with records retention requirementsPrepare HR reports, metrics, presentations, and data summariesProvide administrative support for HR programs including training, performance management, and employee engagement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on special HR projects and process improvement initiativesPerform additional duties, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and departmental priorities.Qualifications Required* Actively enrolled in a 4-year college or university program pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field* Fluent in EnglishInternship Term* May-August 2026 (minimum 3-month commitment)Background and ExperienceSophomore or Junior standing preferredStrong interest in Human Resources within an industrial or chemicals environmentPrevious internship experience is a plusFamiliarity with HRIS systems and data management tools preferredBasic understanding of employment laws and workplace compliance standards preferredCompetencies and SkillsStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential informationStrong attention to detail with effective time management and multitasking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentKey Interactions* Internal: All Oxea personnel, both global and local* External: VendorsNotable Working ConditionsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesMust be able to access and navigate each department within the organization's facilitiesMust be flexible to work outside of core work schedules, as needed, within agreed-upon workload expectations to support a global employee baseWhat You Will GainHands-on experience across multiple Human Resources functionsExposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operationsExperience supporting process improvement and compliance initiativesOpportunity to develop professional communication, organizational, and analytical skillsCollaboration with experienced HR and business professionals in a corporate environmentWork Schedule* Hybrid: In office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; remote Tuesday and FridayAll Employees are invited to participate regardless of race, sex, age, color, national origin, marital status, religion, disability or veteran status, and any other criterion prescribed by law.OXEA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
