Fabricator/Welder - Projects Key Responsibilities Installation and removal of machinery, piping and internal structures. Work with capital projects and engineers to complete projects Is efficient in rigging equipment for safe removal and install Able to read blue prints and diagrams Able to fabricate parts from blue prints Welding supports, platforms and misc welding throughout plant Maintain a positive work environment across Deckorators facilities Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures. Skills and Abilities Combo welding throughout plant Must be able to read and interpret precision measurements, machine diagrams, blue prints and other resources needed to complete project Must be able to operate hand held plasma cutter, cutting torches, welders, scissor lifts, boom lifts and multiple style fork lifts Is able to lift and carry moderate weight and work in physically demanding conditions Is able to design and fabricate parts when needed. Must be able to install piping, support hangers, stands and support structures Is able to work independently without supervision , has a positive attitude and works well in group settings Experience High school diploma or GED or higher Minimum 2 years welding experience in an industrial setting Minimum 2 years experience in construction and demo The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
