Welder Senior ($1.50/hr Night Shift Premium)

Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for 5 welders (night shifts). In this role you will apply appropriate welding processes to join surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials.Location: Tulsa, OK 74116Safety Sensitive: YesWhat You'll DoLayout and mark weld points on parts or sub-assembliesPosition pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools.Assist in the completion of all tasks to meet deadlinesMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesFollow all safety rules and practicesPerform other duties as assignedPreferred Skills And QualificationsAbility to qualify as horizontal welderRead, write and speak proficiently in EnglishAbility to qualify as a vertical WelderCertified welder preferredCertified for horizontal groove welding preferredAble to perform Oxy Fuel Burning and Carbon Arcing preferredAbility to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working cultureWorking ConditionsHourly position, 4:30PM - 3:00AM (subject to change based on business needs), mandatory OT often required Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate multiple shifts and frequent weekend shiftsAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.TOW158
