Senior Director of Finance
Our client, a growing distribution company, is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Finance to partner closely with executive leadership and help drive financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to the CFO and executive team, providing financial insights that support operational execution and long-term growth.This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on FP&A leadership with strategic decision-making in a fast-moving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisLead the company’s annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planningBuild and maintain financial models to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiencyDevelop monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for executive leadershipAnalyze sales performance, inventory trends, distribution costs, and working capitalPartner with operations and sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and KPI trackingProvide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to leadershipStrategic Finance & Business PartnershipServe as a strategic finance partner to the executive teamSupport pricing strategy, vendor negotiations, and capital allocation decisionsHelp evaluate new distribution channels, product lines, and expansion opportunitiesProvide financial support for M&A, integrations, and strategic initiatives, as applicableIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, planning processes, and financial visibility across the organizationLeadership & Process ImprovementLead and mentor the corporate FP&A functionStrengthen financial reporting processes, dashboards, and data visibilityCollaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, supply chain, and salesHelp implement or optimize planning tools, ERP reporting, and BI dashboardsQualifications10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadershipExperience in distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or product-based environmentsStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering skillsExecutive presence with the ability to communicate financial insights clearlyExperience working in a growth-oriented environmentBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA a plus)
