In this role, you will be responsible for operations of the Distribution Center and the supervision of all Distribution Center employees.Our General Manager will lead a staff of customer care members and warehouse team members and oversees responsibilities that include several key areas of our business:Customer Service - managing a staff of Customer Care Representatives.Vendor Relations - maintaining positive relationships with customers and logistics vendors.General Operations - Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, HR, Facilities, and Warehousing.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverall client service, financial and operational responsibilitySupervise accounts payable and accounts receivableManage inventory levels in accordance with sales demandMonitor warehouse team to include all inventory movement in and out of facilityResponsible for accuracy of weekly product cycle countsTrain, coach, develop, and encourage local customer care teamEvaluate/oversee all local vendor relationships for overall best valueWork with local sales team to create best possible customer experienceSome Human Resources responsibilitiesEducation/ExperienceSales oriented, with a customer-driven mindsetSelf-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to manage all financial and operational management aspects of a multimillion-dollar businessStrong computer skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum of 6-10 years of related experienceBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military experience.Working Conditions/Physical RequirementsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this role.
