Lead Electrical Engineer

Current and upcoming portfolio is 100% focused on CO₂ capture, gas processing, helium recovery, and low-carbon power generation facilities across North America.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Discipline Lead to act as the single point of accountability for all electrical engineering. This is a true discipline-head position. You will own standards, quality, man-hour budgets, resource allocation, and final sign-off on every electrical deliverable that leaves the electrical group.ResponsibilitiesFull technical and budgetary authority over the entire electrical engineering departmentEstablish and maintain company electrical standards, specifications, and tools.Lead or personally perform power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, transient motor starting, harmonics)Oversee substation design, MV/LV switchgear specification, large VFD packages, emergency/standby generation, and grounding grids, heat-trace systemsResource planning, hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews for all electrical staffClient-facing technical authority on all electrical mattersFinal review and professional seal on all electrical deliverablesQualificationsProfessional Engineer: Must currently hold (or immediately qualify for) (P.E.) registration in at least one U.S. State.Willing to gain P.Eng registration in one Canadian province.Candidates already holding both P.Eng.
