About The Role
Ebon Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for interfacing with Customers (current and potential) in an effort to achieve revenue growth and customer acquisition objectives set by the Company. The Sales Engineer will also review customer specifications, assist in determining and understanding client equipment needs, generate quotes, and engage in follow up conversations with the customer regarding open opportunities. Working closely with the Sales Manager to ensure proper and accurate coverage of specific customer accounts. This role is based in an office in the Frisco/Plano (TX) area. What You’ll Do
The ideal candidate will analyze and interpret customer specifications and generate quotations using advanced knowledge of Engineering capabilities/requirements and Product; work with customers to understand and assess equipment needs, making recommendations as needed; provide excellent Sales and Engineering Service, including Technical Support, as needed; engage in follow up conversations with customers and potential customers to convert open opportunities into sales orders; collaborate with Engineering Team and Purchasing Team to ensure that pricing structures are appropriate; maintain accurate records in customer relationship management software; collaborate with other Team members to establish additional avenues for acquiring new customers and plans for meeting goals; attend daily/weekly internal Sales Meetings; provide guidance and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation; identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and hardware availability; and provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.

About You
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
3-5 years of sales and/or customer service experience with transformer industry preferred.
Demonstrate capability in three main areas: Team Support, Technical Excellence and Innovation.
Possesses good knowledge of different transformer systems, and various compatibility requirements.
Experience in troubleshooting, development processes and ability to understand and implement requirements.
Proficiency in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
Ability to influence and negotiation skills.
Proficiency Microsoft Office experience; Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
