Collect patient samples, such as blood, urine, and sputum, for subsequent laboratory testing and analysis. Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care. Address patient comfort and safety requirements, including positioning, mobility assistance, and pain management. Respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary. Adhere rigorously to infection control procedures, encompassing proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections from spreading. Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, in strict accordance with regulations and guidelines.
