Ultrasound Technologist – OB/GYN Focus (Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire) Location: Knoxville, TN (Clinic setting) Pay: $25-$35/hr (DOE) Schedule: Day shift, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Status: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire Start: ASAP We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with strong OB/GYN anatomy experience to join a busy outpatient medical group. This role is ideal for a sonographer who values patient-centered care, enjoys a steady weekday schedule, and wants long-term stability in a clinic environment. What You’ll Do Perform routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound procedures per physician orders Obtain and document pertinent clinical and technical findings Provide clear explanations to patients and families Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records Ensure radiation safety and proper equipment use Support patient flow and assist with clerical or transport needs as required Maintain equipment, supplies, and imaging areas Demonstrate age-appropriate care across the lifespan Work independently to carry exams from order through completion What We’re Looking For Meets ARDMS prerequisites Ability to obtain ARDMS registration within 180 days of hire CPR certification (required) Strong OB anatomy ultrasound experience (required) Excellent communication and patient care skills Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinic Why This Role?
