Ultrasound Technologist
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist for our client in Morristown, TN! This is a direct hire/perm opportunity! Type: Direct Hire Pay Range: $25.15 - $33.71/hr Location: Morristown, TN 37814 Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm; Monday - Friday Position Summary Performs physician-directed routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and efficient workflow support. Responsible for obtaining and documenting clinical information, operating imaging equipment proficiently, maintaining patient records and confidentiality, and assisting with patient flow, clerical duties, and transport as needed. Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist: Perform routine and specialized diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and protocol. Maintain radiation safety standards and quality control of imaging equipment. Obtain, document, and communicate pertinent clinical and technical findings. Provide patients and families with clear explanations of procedures and care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records, data entry, charging, and statistical reporting. Support efficient patient flow and coordinate daily work distribution. Demonstrate competency in patient assessment, monitoring, sterile technique, and age-specific care across the lifespan. Assist with equipment maintenance, supply management, and vendor ordering. Respond promptly and professionally to patients, physicians, and staff. Participate in continuing education, in-service training, and professional development activities. Qualifications for the Ultrasound Technologist: Education: Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements for ARDMS certification. Experience: Must have OB anatomy ultrasound experience. Must meet ARDMS prerequisites to sit for the ARDMS examination. Licensure/Certification: ARDMS registration required within 180 days of hire Current CPR certification required Why work for Adecco?
