R&D Dynamics provides a structured, technical work environment for individuals interested in hands-on roles supporting high-performance products.Role Description The Inspector role at R&D Dynamics is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomfield, CT. The Inspector is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies, using measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing work orders and technical documentation, recording inspection results, identifying nonconformances, and assisting in corrective action processes. The role involves collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate inspection records, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Inspector is also expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to reliable, high-quality output.Qualifications Ability to accurately use measurement and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments).Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.Familiarity with quality control processes, documentation, and nonconformance reporting in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and communicate defects or deviations from standards.Basic computer skills for recording inspection data and completing electronic forms or reports.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality inspection or manufacturing is beneficial.Experience in aerospace, industrial equipment, or precision manufacturing environments is a plus.
