GIS Pipeline Analyst

Our client, a leader in oil & gas, is hiring a GIS Pipeline Analyst to join their team in Houston, TX!**This has a hybrid schedule (Mon–Wed onsite / Thu–Fri remote)**As the GIS Pipeline Analyst, you will support pipeline data integrity initiatives by maintaining and validating pipeline asset data within the PODS Spatial geodatabase environment. This role will focus heavily on GIS data management, QA/QC processes, pipeline as-built documentation review, and database validation activities supporting pipeline operations.Responsibilities:Maintain and validate pipeline asset data within the PODS Spatial geodatabaseReview and interpret pipeline source documentation including alignment sheets, survey data, field notes, pressure test reports, and engineering drawingsPerform GIS data editing, QA/QC checks, and data consistency validation activitiesUtilize SQL queries and internal applications to identify and correct data discrepanciesSupport enterprise GIS and pipeline database maintenance activitiesCollaborate with engineering, GIS, integrity management, and operations teamsDesired Skills:Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree 5+ years of pipeline as-built, pipeline GIS, or pipeline database experienceStrong experience with ArcGIS Pro / ESRI enterprise GIS environmentsExperience working with PODS, APDM, ISAT, UPDM, CAD Drafter or related pipeline data modelsProficiency with SQL and data validation processesExperience interpreting pipeline engineering documentation and survey recordsAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word skillsMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
