This is an excellent opportunity to work with a sophisticated team on complex, high-value transactions in a flexible, hybrid environment.Position OverviewThe Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple transactions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing and post-closingReview and analyze title commitments, title documents, surveys, and zoning materialsConduct and organize due diligencePrepare, draft, and revise transaction documents, including closing documents, loan documents, and correspondenceAssist with pre-closing and post-closing processes to ensure timely completionPerform legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisInterface with clients, lenders, title companies, and government agenciesRecord documents with appropriate jurisdictionsMaintain organized files for complex, multi-state transactionsTrack and enter billable time in accordance with firm expectationsQualifications6–10+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience (no residential)Strong experience with title and survey review, zoning, and due diligenceExperience managing multi-state/out-of-state transactions strongly preferredProven ability to handle full lifecycle of real estate deals independentlyExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platformsBachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferredAdditional DetailsHybrid schedule with strong flexibilityCompetitive compensation and bonus structure tied to billable hoursBillable requirement around 1,400 hours, with incentives for higher productivityOccasional overtime or travel may be required based on deal activityThis is a high-priority hire within a busy and growing practice group.
