Position Type:Special EducationDate Posted:4/16/2026Location:Special EducationSpecial Education Teacher - Day Treatment ProgramExciting Opportunity for a Special Education TeacherWe are looking for a special education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to be at the forefront of developing our new day treatment program!This teacher would have experience working with or a strong willingness to learn about children who struggle to regulate their behavior. This person will work closely with our Day Treatment Coordinator and Student Services Coordinator to develop a program structure that aligns with our belief that all children can learn and grow. You would have resources available to support the program as well, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), clinicians, Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and others.The first phase of our day treatment program will focus on elementary school, with other grades to follow as needed.Must be certified as a 282 Special Education Teacher.Must have their CRHC (criminal record history check)Experience as a special education teacher is preferred.Experience addressing behavior in a positive and supportive approach is preferred.Willingness to learn and grow.Willingness to be flexible.Experience with Restorative Practices, Regulated Classroom, and other similar tools a plus.If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we encourage you to apply to see if you would be a good fit to join our team.
