Key Qualifications:Current Special Education (SPED) certification requiredExperience with students in K-5th grade preferredSkilled in managing mixed caseloads (mild, moderate, and severe)Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilitiesAbility to cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Primary Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with varying needsProvide direct instruction, interventions, and behavioral supports in both group and individualized settingsCollaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staffEffectively communicate with families about student progress and support strategiesMaintain accurate records and adhere to compliance requirements Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, depending on experience, reflecting the value brought to the school and community.
