Senior Java Developer / Python AI Platform EngineerLocation: Pasadena, CA Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)Key Responsibilities & Skills14+ years of strong backend software development experience.Expert in Java 17/21, Python, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems.Build high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines using Apache Kafka.Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, AI Agents, or Generative AI.Experience with Databricks or cloud data platforms is a plus.Strong understanding of unit/integration testing and SDLC.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Must be available to work 3 days/week from the Pasadena office.
