Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Bainbridge, Georgia Full-Time Permanent PositionI’m currently working on a full-time permanent CWI position based in Bainbridge, GA.This is a strong opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability with a well-established heavy fabrication and precision machining company. The business works across major engineered steel projects, including moveable bridge machinery, lock and dam equipment, heavy industrial fabrication and custom machinery.This is not a travel contract or a short-term project. They are looking for someone local, or within a realistic commute, who wants a permanent role and long-term stability.The role would suit a CWI with experience in:Weld inspection and visual inspectionHeavy fabrication or structural steelAWS codes, ideally D1.1 or D1.5Reading drawings, weld symbols and specificationsFit-up, dimensional checks and weld qualityInspection reports, documentation and quality recordsWorking closely with welders, fitters, supervisors and production teamsRequirements:Active AWS CWI certificationExperience in welding inspection, fabrication or structural steelAbility to work onsite in Bainbridge, GAStrong attention to detailComfortable in a shop/fabrication environmentThis is a good fit for someone who is tired of chasing short-term contracts and wants a stable, permanent role with a respected fabrication business.
