Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 18 months RN experience before travel assignments required, 2 years preferred. License: Current State Nursing License required. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS Required. Must-Have: Proficiency with balloon pump, Impella, atherectomy devices, cardiac medication drips, and emergency medications. STEMI experience required. On-call requirement evenings and weekends. Nicotine-free. Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab specialty. The Nurse will work in the interventional services unit. The role demands proficiency with devices such as balloon pumps, Impella, and atherectomy equipment. The Nurse is responsible for managing cardiac medication drips and emergency medications. Experience with STEMI cases is essential. The Nurse will be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. The position involves evening and weekend on-call responsibilities. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers must provide two references from a direct supervisor or manager. A strict do-not-call policy is in place. Modules are non-billable and are completed pre-start and annually. Travelers must comply with a negative drug screen within the specified timeframe. Two attempts are allowed for the EKG and Pharm test during orientation, with no remediation for a retest. Traveling staff must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. The facility does not accept any license hits.
