Patient Services Representative-RadiologyJob Ref: 34149Category: Radiology & ImagingLocation: 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742Department: Radiology SupportSchedule: Per DiemShift: Day/Eve shiftHours: 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pmPay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourPer Diem, Patient Services Representative, Radiology Support, Emerson Hospital, Concord, MASchedule may include 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pmReporting to the Lead Patient Service Representative, the Patient Service Representative(PSR) rotates between the departments: X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, and Mammography. The PSR greets patients and visitors entering the department. The PSR generates and sorts exam requisitions, accurately enters exams into the HIS/RIS system. Must maintain a high level of patient confidentiality via HIPPA guidelines and be committed to Service Excellence at all times.Minimum QualificationsEducation High school diploma or equivalent requiredMedical Terminology course preferred.Previous coursework related to administrative skills preferred.Experience One year in a medical office environment preferred.Customer service, data entry, and HIS/RIS experience a plus.Licensure and/or Certification None required.Skills Organization and multitasking skillsAbility to read and communicate effectively using medical terminologyAccurate data entry skillsCourteous and professional manner when dealing with public both in person and on the phoneMust have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, i.e., answer phones, give verbal reports, generate paperwork in an organized manner all at the same time as well as working with minimal supervisionKnowledge of medical terminologyMaintains standard of performance which promote Service ExcellenceMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English.Computer skills required.Ability to maintain confidential information.To apply, please visit: https://jobs.emersonhospital.org/job/patient-services-representative-radiology-radiology-imaging-cat-emerson-hospital-16929/Copyright 2025 Jobelephant.com Inc.
