The role will support our firm by assisting with financial month/year end closing, financial reporting and review, analyzing financial results and general ledger account reconciliations. This position can be 100% remote, hybrid from any Wipfli office, or the individual can chose to work from a Wipfli office. The current internal accounting team is geographically dispursed across the mid-west.ResponsibilitiesCollecting and analyzing operational data for Wipfli LLP and Consolidated Financial ReportingReconcilingPreparing Monthly adjusting Journal EntriesPreparing Monthly Accrual EntriesMonthly General Ledger Account Reconciliations and AnalysisIdentifying and Monitoring variances in Revenue and Expense itemsDetailed Revenue Analysis to Budget/Forecast by Service Line and MarketDetailed Analysis and Explanations for WIP and AR Write OffsFinancial Statement and Report development to meet the needs of the Firm and its PartnersReconciling Financial Statements to supporting documentationAP Invoice GL Coding ApprovalOther Various Partnership requestsExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate financeExperience with Workday on the financial system, preferredWorking knowledge of ExcelBusiness acumen and curiosityAbilitiesExceptional interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills including being comfortable with interacting with firm leadershipAnalytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsAbility to streamline functions and passion to learn and growComfort with dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work unsupervisedAttention to accuracy and detailPlan, prioritize, and organize workBalance multiple projectsWipfli is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
