Social Media Intern

About the RoleWe're looking for a Social Media Intern who's excited to create content, experiment with trends, and help grow our online presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, understands digital culture, and wants hands-on experience building a brand across multiple platforms.What You'll Do• Develop short-form content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook• Assist with maintaining the social media content calendar• Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to surface new ideas• Draft captions, edit videos, and help refine our brand voice• Track performance metrics and communicate insights• Support broader marketing projects as needed (campaigns, events, partnerships)What You Bring• Strong interest and understanding in social media, digital marketing, and content creation• Basic experience with tools like Canva, Illustrator, Photo Shop, Email Chimp, or Adobe Creative Suite• Clear writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with a team• Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to test new ideas• Must possess a recent model Smartphone Nice-to-Haves• Experience managing a personal or student-run social account• Familiarity with analytics tools (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)• Photography or video editing skills• Pursing additional Marketing/Advertising educationDetailsLocation: Wilmington, DE Hours: Approximately 10 hours/weekCompensation: Paid internship
