A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator responsible for managing the registration process of patients for outpatient behavioral healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive customer/patient experience
Document patient demographic and health information accurately into the electronic health record system
Schedule appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrixRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
One year of customer service or call center experience required, with an emphasis in healthcare preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
