Electronics Technician

Job Title: Electronics and PCB Prototype TesterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electronics and PCB Prototype Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work on new product development, focusing on building and testing electronics and PCBs. This role requires expertise in prototyping using PCB blueprints and schematics, as well as testing prototypes for performance. The candidate will also be responsible for incorporating wire harnesses and preparing and testing components.ResponsibilitiesBuild and test new electronic products and PCBs.Work off PCB blueprints and schematics to create prototypes.Set up prototypes for performance testing.Incorporate wire harnesses into prototypes.Prepare and test electronic components.Perform soldering and crimping tasks as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in electronics and PCB testing.Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other electronic testing equipment.Expertise in surface-mount technology (SMT).Skill in wire harness assembly and testing.Additional Skills & Qualifications* Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.* Significant experience in PCB testing and soldering.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a lab setting, involving a mix of sitting and standing for extended periods. The work environment is collaborative, with a smaller team of approximately 50 individuals. Enjoy a great culture and team atmosphere, along with a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleburg Heights, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
