Senior Technical Project Manager
IntroSenior Technology Project Manager to initiate, plan, execute, and finalize the technology component implementations for all assigned projects associated with organizational construction capital programs/projects. Your role will be to manage the efforts of all team members to deliver technology components within established budget/schedule. The Project Manager also oversees relevant quality control and report progress throughout the project lifecycle.Job Details Directs and manages project development and progress from beginning to end. Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Defines and documents within the project initiation deliverables, the project technology scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes. Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Estimates and identifies the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Negotiates with contractors and internal department managers for the acquisition of required personnel. Develops scaled project plans and associated communications documents using standard tools. Plans will address all aspects of the standard technology implementation lifecycle including design, procurement, installation, build/configure, test, train, go-live, and close. Plans will include a work breakdown schedule including activities/tasks, responsible parties, milestones, and schedule. Facilitates or participates in routine project team meetings to establish and continually manage project requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Coaches, mentors, motivates, and supervises project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results, and troubleshoots problem areas. Tracks and reports status against project plans to appropriate stakeholders and senior management based on agreed upon communication plans. Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path. Identifies and resolves issues/conflicts and/or escalates where appropriate for resolution. Proactively manages potential scope and schedule changes. Conducts project post mortems and creates a recommendations report.Mandatory Skills Bachelor's degree. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management software. Prior experience with technology implementation in a construction project Thorough knowledge of formal project management methodologies.Desired Skills At least seven years of project management experience. Experience with implementing healthcare applications and technologies.
