Mechanical Engineering Intern

Job description:BTR-Double L is looking for a mechanical engineering intern to support our engineering team and gain real-world experience working on agricultural equipment.This isn’t a classroom-style internship. You’ll be working directly in SolidWorks and PDM on active projects, helping improve designs and support production.What you’ll be doing:Create and update drawings in SolidWorksImprove existing models and assembliesWork in PDM to manage revisions and file structureSupport engineering changes tied to real production buildsHelp troubleshoot and resolve issues found on the shop floorWhat we’re looking for:Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or similarBasic SolidWorks experienceStrong attention to detailWilling to learn and take ownership of assigned workComfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environmentWhat you’ll gain:Experience working on real equipment, not practice projectsExposure to the full process from design to productionUnderstanding of how engineering decisions affect cost, build time, and performanceDirect collaboration with engineers and shop teamsPay:Paid hourly, based on experienceNo benefitsWhat makes this different:Your work will be used in productionYou’ll see designs go from CAD to the shop floorYou’ll gain practical experience that translates directly into full-time roles
