OPEN UNTIL FILLED Estimated Start Day: Anticipated Location: Pasco Juvenile DJJ (San Antonio), WEPA (Hudson) Days/Hours: 199 days/8 hours Days/Hours Summer: 48 days/8 hours Specialty: Special Education, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), Graduation Enhancement School Related Personnel - SRP Full-time, benefit eligible position JOB SUMMARY Responsible for assisting the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment in which students with cognitive, physical, communication and emotional disabilities can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources, under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field OR 60 semester hours of college/university level course work from an accredited institution OR Obtain qualifying score to pass the ParaPro Assessment All employees must satisfactorily complete any required trainings All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements Click here for Job Description.
