Due to my clients explosive growth they are looking for a Operational Support SpecialistThis is not a back-office role—you'll be the bridge between planning and production, ensuring jobs move efficiently, materials are ready, and bottlenecks are eliminated before they become problems.What You'll DoYou'll play a critical role in keeping production on track by:Building Bills of Materials (BOMs) and defining equipment, labor, and time requirementsMonitoring production throughput and reporting performancePrioritizing jobs to meet customer deadlines and delivery targetsWorking directly with shop floor teams to troubleshoot issues (materials, staffing, machine downtime)Partnering with management, engineering, and quality to resolve production challengesSupporting purchasing with material forecasting and demand planningLeading contract review meetings and driving process improvementsManaging production documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 standardsIdentifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencyWhat We're Looking For5+ years of production planning or operations support experience (machine shop or manufacturing preferred)Strong communicator who can work across production, engineering, and leadership teamsComfortable balancing office planning work with hands-on shop floor interactionProven ability to problem-solve in real time in a fast-moving environmentHigh level of organization and attention to detailExperience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central is a plus)Why This Role MattersThis position is critical to the operation.
