Hi Everyone,Please find the below position with our client in the LocationW2 CONTRACT OnlyJob Description:Title: Big Data Engineer with Data ScienceLocations: Sunnyvale, CA / Austin, TX9+ YEARNote: Ex-Apple experience is requiredAs Lead Data Engineer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Required Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution.At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop distributed frameworks while handling large amounts of big data using Spark and Hadoop Ecosystems.At least 3 years of experience with Spark/PySpark is required.At least 2 years of experience with Python/Scala is required.At least 3 years of experience with SQL and any RDBMS.At least 1 year of Data Science experience Preferred Qualifications:At least 1 year of AWS development experience is preferredAbility to work within deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks.Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate across teams, internal and external at all levels.Experience in Drive automationDevOps Knowledge is an added advantage.Note: This is a W2 CONTRACT.For Immediate response please reach out to me at Sureshp@vmcsofttech.com.ThanksP.V.
