This role will focus heavily on hands-on testing, failure analysis, and development of reliability and environmental test methods throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, deep testing experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a regulated engineering environment.Job Duties:Perform environmental, reliability, shock, vibration, and product lifecycle testingConduct root cause investigations and failure analysis on tested productsDevelop and execute test protocols, test plans, and validation activitiesSupport design verification and design validation testing activitiesDevelop and maintain test fixtures and testing methodologiesEvaluate electromechanical medical devices to identify product limitations and improvement opportunitiesParticipate in engineering design reviews and technical investigationsSupport testing activities related to temperature, humidity, altitude, dust ingress, water ingress, and EMC/EMI performanceCollaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to achieve project goalsEnsure all work complies with quality system and regulatory requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferredExperience in test and reliability engineering strongly preferredBackground supporting medical device or FDA-regulated industries requiredStrong understanding of electromechanical systems and product testing methodologiesExperience working with design verification and validation processesAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teamsStrong communication and technical documentation skills
