Reliability Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a Test & Reliability Engineer to support a molecular R&D project team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating existing mechanical medical devices and driving advancements throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer will leverage expertise in test and reliability engineering to contribute to product development, cross-functional problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure deliverables align with project, department, and company goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform work in compliance with company policies and quality systemsExecute engineering activities within the test and reliability disciplineDesign and implement test concepts, company SOPs, SWDs, and processesDevelop solutions to complex engineering problems across multidisciplinary teamsOperate with limited oversight; problem-solve and manage assigned responsibilities independentlyCollaborate with senior/principal engineers and leadership; may act as a discipline lead on projectsParticipate in product design reviews, investigations, and engineering change processesPlan and execute testing for electromechanical devices across the full product lifecycle, including:Environmental testing (temperature, humidity, altitude)Shock and vibration testingReliability testingShip testingDust ingress testingWater ingress testingElectrical/EMC/EMI testingDevelop test fixtures and validation strategiesDevelop and maintain test protocols and execute test plans throughout development cyclesUtilize systems such as HEX ALM for sub-system and system-level testingSupport design verification and validation activitiesPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field10+ years of experience in an engineering environment (testing experience preferred)
