Senior Full-Stack Software EngineerLocation: Cleveland, OH (East Side)About the PositionWe're supporting an early-stage, venture-backed software company that's transforming how distributors and manufacturers process customer orders using AI.Their platform automates the extraction, validation, and entry of purchase orders into complex ERP systems, helping customers eliminate manual administrative work while significantly improving processing speed and accuracy.As the company's first Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll work directly alongside the technical founder to build, architect, and scale a production platform that is already generating revenue and solving real-world problems for customers. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact while helping shape both the product and engineering organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain full-stack software solutions across the company's AI-powered order processing platform.Develop customer-facing web applications that streamline order review, validation, pricing, and product matching.Build and maintain integrations with ERP platforms including Prophet 21, Epicor Eclipse, WhereFour, and other enterprise systems.Improve data synchronization pipelines, search infrastructure, and backend services supporting customer environments.Debug production issues, monitor system health, and deploy reliable solutions that minimize customer disruption.Collaborate directly with leadership to make architectural decisions, prioritize product initiatives, and drive technical strategy.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while contributing to design documentation and engineering best practices.Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and long-term support.Who You ArePassionate about building software that solves real customer problems.Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with significant ownership.Enjoy solving complex technical challenges involving legacy enterprise systems.Curious, resourceful, and capable of figuring things out without complete documentation.Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating directly with founders, customers, and engineers.Excited to help shape both product direction and engineering culture.Experience Requirements5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.Strong experience building production web applications.Professional experience with TypeScript and SQL.Comfortable developing in Python.Experience integrating with enterprise software, APIs, databases, or legacy systems.Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and maintain live customer applications.Experience owning projects from design through deployment.What You BringStrong full-stack development experience.Excellent SQL and database design skills.Experience debugging complex production environments.Ability to reverse-engineer poorly documented systems and APIs.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering reliable software.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with ERP systems or enterprise software integrations.Experience building SaaS platforms or workflow automation products.Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.Experience working with AI/LLM-powered applications.Cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience.Startup or early-stage company experience.What Success Looks LikeCustomers experience faster, more reliable order processing.ERP integrations are stable, scalable, and easy to maintain.Production issues are identified quickly and resolved efficiently.New features are delivered with quality, speed, and long-term maintainability in mind.Engineering processes continue to mature as the platform and customer base grow.You become a trusted technical partner to both leadership and customers while helping scale the business.
