Full Stack Developer (NodeJS / AWS Serverless)

Description:
Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend and full-stack experience and recent NodeJS expertise to support mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-native systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs within a serverless AWS environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teams
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using modern testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai)
- Improve system performance, scalability, and availability across complex applications
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles
- Support ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates
Requirements:
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experience
Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScriptHands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- AWS LambdaAPI Gateway
- CloudFormationS3, SNS, SQSExperience with Elastic
- SearchStrong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting federal or government technology programs
