Human Resources Director

Overview A fast-growing energy platform is seeking a Director of Human Resources to report to the CEO and build a best-in-class HR function from the ground up. This role will drive talent strategy, develop scalable HR infrastructure, and support an active M&A pipeline, while fostering a high-performance, safety-driven culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning across corporate and operational teamsBuild and scale HR infrastructure, including policies, HRIS/ATS, and onboarding programsOversee PEO relationship and benefits administration; evaluate long-term strategyServe as a trusted advisor on employee relations, compliance, and performance managementDesign compensation structures and total rewards programsLead HR diligence and integration efforts across M&A transactionsQualifications8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including building HR functions in growth environmentsStrong recruiting leadership across diverse functionsExperience supporting M&A (due diligence and integration)Knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesPEO and benefits administration experience preferredHR certification (SHRM or PHR/SPHR) a plus
