Electrical Foreman - TWIC

The Foremans responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the successful day-to-day operation of Caliber’s field site(s) production in order to satisfy both internal and client expectations. Job duties include: Ensures that every project is completed with ZERO safety incidents and that every employee uses the required PPE Leads daily safety meetings and ensures required documentation, such as TSAs, JSAs, and safety sign-in sheets are completed and submitted Partners with HSE to ensure all workplace incidents and accidents are reported immediately and that proper procedures are followed Manages all site(s) employees to ensure productivity measures are met, along with Caliber policies and procedures Maintains proper working conditions of site Submits required personnel forms, as needed, for employees to properly ensure that Human Resources can process changes to employee records in a timely manner Corrective action forms, completed as needed and must be done within 48 hours of the incident being addressed Dismissal forms, as needed NOTE: Terminations with cause must be pre-approved by HR End-of-job evaluation forms, as needed Maintains timely, relevant and professional communication with clients and internal contacts to ensure necessary updates are transmitted; must include PM on any and all communications with client Maintains required materials and tools to sustain productivity by following Caliber’s procurement and ordering process Works with Procurement to order and then ultimately ensure timely delivery of materials needed While maintaining Caliber’s PO process, inclusive of approvals Separates out material vs. tools/equipment and maintains accordingly Must maintain material management plan – both Caliber’s and client-provided Maintains Caliber's tool inventory process Ensures inventory is maintained, needed repairs are completed in a timely manner, and is held responsible for values of inventory – ultimately responsible for all tools and materials onsite - the care and custody thereof Ensures the receiving of client-owned material is QA’d Partners closely with QA/QC to ensure all inspection of work is completed and signed-off accordingly. Any needed corrections of the work are documented and reported accordingly. Understands scope with the ability to capture changes through Caliber’s change order process; ensures that the RFI process is followed Completes and submits all Company-required documentation on or before required deadlines, such as: Customer Acknowledgement Tickets Expense reports Truck reports Daily reports – to include pictures Completes daily progress tracking reports/bubble sheet Maintains confidentiality regarding all Caliber business and communications Ultimately is 100% for the site and site personnel as a direct reflection of this individual’s leadership The summarized qualifications for this role are: 5+ years of supervisory experience Experience in an industrial environment with productivity tracking, scheduling, change order process, and QA procedures Demonstrated experience in: reading construction drawings, ISOs, P&IDs, and specifications; above and below-ground installation Able to understand all materials and tools needed to complete projects Excellent attention to detail Effective communication skills Capable of meeting deadlines and operating safely within budget and with a sense of urgency OSHA 30 Physical requirements include: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Frequently positions self to perform scope work, which may include hard-to-reach and low-lying areas, confined spaces, heights of 100 feet, etc. Frequently moves material, tools and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. and up to 25-35 lbs. overhead Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions (may be exposed to extreme heat or cold, etc.) Exposed to dust and debris (will wear a respirator, if needed) Constantly operate/use necessary tools, equipment and/or methods to complete assigned work Frequently ascends/descends stairs, ramps, ladders, etc. Able to work 6-10 schedule when needed Experience: Electrical Construction: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: TDLR Journeyman or NCCER License OSHA 30 Driver's License (Required) Location: South Louisiana Schedule - 4 - 10's Pay depending on experience: $44-$46/hr Per Diem: No
