Export Agent - Global Freight Forwarder (35259)

A global freight forwarding company is seeking a detail-oriented Export Agent to join the team in Jericho, NY. 3+ years of working experience in air or ocean expert coordination is mandatory. Cargowise software experience is an asset for the role. This is a full-time and direct hire position. Export Agent Coordinator Duties:Coordinate and manage export shipments (air & ocean) from booking to final deliveryPrepare and review export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, etc.)Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international shipping requirementsCommunicate with carriers, overseas agents, and customers to ensure smooth operationsTrack shipments and proactively resolve delays or issuesMaintain accurate records in internal systems and support billing processesExport Agent Coordinator Skills:3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or export operationsKnowledge of export documentation and proceduresStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple shipments and deadlines efficientlyExperience with logistics software (CargoWise experience is a strong plus – implementation planned)Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetActiv8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
