A global freight forwarding company is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Export Agent to join their team in Jericho, NY. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in air export operations and a strong understanding of international logistics. This is a direct -hire, permanent and onsite work setting.Export Agent ResponsibilitiesHandle end-to-end air export shipment coordinationPrepare and process shipping documents (AWB, customs documentation, etc.)Coordinate with airlines, carriers, vendors, and overseas agentsEnsure compliance with international shipping regulations and company proceduresTrack shipments and proactively resolve any operational issuesCommunicate with clients regarding shipment status and requirementsSupport billing and operational data accuracy as neededExport Agent RequirementsExperience in Air Export operations (preferred and highly valued)Knowledge of freight forwarding or logistics industryExperience in CargoWise is strong assetStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsEnglish proficiency required (additional languages are a plus)Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
