Moldmaker IDonatelle - New Brighton - New Brighton, MN 55112OverviewSalary Range $26.00 - $39.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionOverview of Responsibilities:Moldmaking and Tooling ResponsibilitiesResponsible for executing the process of building precision injection molds, fixtures and componentsAssist with and/or lead the coordination of the planning, scheduling and communication of all resources supporting the build process to ensure on-time completion to committed dates within budgeted costsResponsible for troubleshooting and recommending solutions to development and production mold related issuesMake recommendations for the on-going preventive maintenance of development moldsResponsible for producing quality work consistent with department and organizational standardsOperate all machines, manual and CNC, in a manner that is safe for yourself and any personnel in the Toolroom at all timesDiligent completion of tracking labor costs in the Tool RoomWork constructively and collaboratively with others within the organization on team projects and shared workGeneral ResponsibilitiesMaintain clean machines, equipment, and organized work areasResponsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual PropertyFollow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manualPerform other projects and duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Education/Experience:Minimum 18-month vocational diploma in Machining, Tool & Die, or MoldmakingFive (5) years of experience as a Moldmaker or related craft skill workOther Qualifications and Desired Skills:Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and CAD modelsAbility to effectively utilize computers and software necessary to perform job dutiesExperienced in problem solving and troubling shootingFundamental understanding of geometry and mathematicsGood communication and human relation skillsPhysical Requirements:Lifting up to 75 poundsStanding while running machinesManual dexterity20/20 vision with or without corrective lensesNormal level of hearing with or without the use of a corrective deviceBenefits and Pay:Benefits:Medical insuranceDental insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurance401(k) retirement options with a company matchPaid time offPaid holidaysAnnual incentive bonus opportunitiesFlexible spending accountsLegal/ID Shield protection planEducational assistance and tuition reimbursement programsPay:Hourly pay range: $27 to $39Plus shift differential if applicable
