Esthetician

An Esthetician is a skilled beauty professional who specializes in skin care and treatments. Their primary role is to provide clients with personalized skincare services aimed at enhancing the health and appearance of their skin. Estheticians perform a range of procedures, including facials, chemical peels, exfoliation treatments, waxing, and extractions.  The Esthetician will always conduct him/herself in a manner that supports the Core Values of Hyatt Hotels: Empathy, Experimentation, Inclusion, Integrity, Respect, Wellbeing They assess clients' skin conditions, recommend appropriate treatments and products, and educate clients on skincare routines and maintenance. Estheticians also stay up-to-date with the latest skincare trends and products, ensuring they offer the most effective and safe solutions. Beyond their technical skills, estheticians often create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for clients, contributing to their overall well-being and self-confidence. Ultimately, estheticians play a vital role in helping clients achieve and maintain healthy, radiant, and youthful-looking skin. Essential job FUNCTIONS: · Provide a variety of skincare treatments, such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and body treatments, tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client. · Conduct thurough skin assessmnets to determine skin type, conditions, issues, and provide recommendations for appropriated treatments and homecare regimens. · Safely and effectively perform extractions to remove impurities from clients' skin. · Offer waxing services for hair removal in various body areas, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic experience. · Consult with clients to understand their skincare concerns and goals. Provide professional advice and product reccomendations. · Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, including the proper sterialization of tools and equipment. · Follow state and local regulations and licensing requirements. Stay informed about skincare products, including their ingredients, benefits, and usage.
