As a DevOps Engineer – Level 3 or 4 , this role can sit in either our Dulles, VA or El Segundo, CA locations. In this role, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.This work will primarily be performed in a SCIF environment. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work . This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:Automate cloud native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructureWork with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technologyWork within the OpenStack cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructureEnsure monitoring and health of the resources deployed via Nagios or other enterprise management solutionsDocument procedures used during deployment cyclesExperience with operational monitoring toolsWork with the fellow DevOps team and play a mentoring role to cross-train and grow technical talent across DevOps team and assist in troubleshooting tasksImplement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that adheres to industry best practices, terraformThis work will primarily be performed in a SCIF environment. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work . For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.#LI-VP1 Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
