You will plan and schedule events, hire and manage event associates, ensure inventory is ready and accurately tracked, and convert event activity into repeatable sales through distributor and retail relationships.Key responsibilitiesEvent operations & scheduling• Build and maintain an annual event calendar (trade shows, markets, vet expos, retail demos); manage deadlines, applications, booth logistics, travel, and staffing needs.• Create run-of-show plans for each event: setup/breakdown timelines, booth layout, product demo flow, lead capture process, and daily targets.• Coordinate vendors and partners (show organizers, booth services, shipping/warehouse, print, etc.).HR coordination for events (hiring + staffing)• Recruit, interview, and hire event associates/brand ambassadors as needed per event.• Create role expectations, shift schedules, and training materials (product knowledge, demo scripts, customer service standards, lead capture, and compliance).• Manage timekeeping, performance feedback, and post-event debriefs; maintain a roster of reliable associates for repeat events.Inventory tracking & reporting• Forecast event inventory needs by product line; coordinate replenishment and event kits (samples, signage, handouts, QR codes, POS materials).• Track inventory movement to/from events; reconcile counts pre-event, daily during event, and post-event.• Produce post-event reporting: units sold, inventory variance, lead volume, follow-up status, and recommendations for next time.Business development (B2B sales)• Own B2B lead follow-up from events and outbound outreach; move prospects through a simple pipeline (contacted → qualified → sample sent → order → reorder).• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, and strategic partners; schedule meetings, manage follow-ups, and document next steps.• Support distributor relationships: coordinate product education, ensure they have current assets/FAQs, and track sell-in/sell-through signals where available.• Represent De'Vora professionally at events; deliver product demos and communicate the value proposition clearly.Process improvement & systems• Create lightweight SOPs for event planning, staffing, inventory reconciliation, and B2B follow-up.• Maintain organized records (contracts, staffing rosters, event budgets, inventory sheets, lead lists, and post-event reports).Success metrics (first 90–180 days)• Event calendar built and executed with fewer last-minute issues; clear checklists and timelines in place.• Reliable event associate roster established; training and scheduling system running smoothly.• Inventory reconciliation accuracy improved; post-event reports delivered within 5 business days.• Increased B2B conversion from event leads (more meetings booked, samples sent, and wholesale/distributor orders).Qualifications• 3+ years in event operations, field marketing, retail demos, or trade show management.• Experience hiring, scheduling, and managing hourly/part-time staff.• Strong operational discipline: inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.• B2B relationship management experience (retail, wholesale, distribution, or partnerships).• Excellent communication and follow-through; comfortable representing a founder-led brand.Preferred• Experience in pet products, CPG, or specialty retail.• Familiarity with wholesale platforms (e.g., Faire) and basic CRM/pipeline tracking.• Comfortable working hands-on at events (setup, demos, troubleshooting).Work style & logistics• Full-time role; hybrid/field-based.• Must be available for travel and weekend events as needed.• Able to lift and move event materials (reasonable accommodations available).Compensation• Competitive full-time compensation based on experience; includes performance expectations tied to event execution and B2B growth.How to applySend a resume and a short note describing: (1) events you've owned end-to-end; (2) your experience hiring/managing event staff; (3) a B2B relationship you built that led to measurable sales.Place of WorkOn-siteRequisition ID101Job TypeFull TimeApplication Emaildebra@devora.us
