Physical Therapist Location: Rapid City, SD Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,601 to $1,795 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota Shift: 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00 Contract Length: 89 weeks Start Date: 05/18/2026 Job Description: The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide support and assist with the delivery of physical therapy services to patients with varying medical conditions in a home health setting. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and communicating with the overseeing Physical Therapist. Responsibilities: Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Document patient progress and treatment responses accurately. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including verbal and written reports to the overseeing Physical Therapist. Travel to various locations in the Southern Black Hills area, including Hot Springs, Custer, Edgemont, Hill City, Hermosa, and the surrounding area. Requirements: Completion of a physical therapy assistant program approved by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT). South Dakota Physical Therapy Assistant licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
