Technical Associate / Chemist

Qualifications:• B.S. or Associate degree in a technical or scientific field related to chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, biological science, with industrial lab experience with clean room + wafer level processing methods & tools.• 1-2 years hands-on industrial experience in semiconductor fab or similar environment• Familiarity with material characterization, wafer-level metrology and/or thin film analysis• Experience with thermal and mechanical analysis tools and techniques is a plus• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player• Good written and verbal communication skills• English fluencyPhDs are not suitableResponsibilities:• Associate investigator focusing on panel and wafer-level processing techniques, comfortable with exploring advanced/non-standard methods for unique applications• Adept at hands-on lab work, creative thinking, problem solving in a unique and fast-paced laboratory environment• Assume responsibility for execution of project workflows, such as laminations, coatings, lithography and cure techniques, as well as thermal and mechanical analysis.• Support additional prototyping and optimization development initiatives relevant to strategic goals as they arrive.• Create, maintain, and leverage close relationships with internal analytical collaborators to drive characterization and performance data collection and analysis.• Clearly and concisely communicate research to team members of varying technical backgrounds• Demonstrate ability to work well on cross-functional and global teams with personnel at multiple levels, including Asia-based customers and commercial points of contact.• Maintain appropriate focus on personal and process safety, product integrity, and environmental stewardship
