Breakfast AttendantThe brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, NY is currently seeking a dynamic, friendly and motivated individual for the position of Breakfast Attendant. The position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organization, communication skills, and detail orientation.The Breakfast Attendant will oversee the breakfast area for our guests, prepare food and beverage for breakfast function, maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, interact with guests, ask about their stay and be able to answer questions about the hotel and the area.Responsibilities:Saturday and Sunday AM 6a-12p possible moreResponsible for food service set up and break downCleaning all equipment and areasPrepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following food safety regulationsReplenish all food and beverage items during the meal periodKeep all items fully stockedEnsure all foods are kept at safe temperaturesKeep all tables bused and cleanedGreet each guest as they arrive for breakfast and build a friendly rapportCreating a warm and welcoming experience for our guestsSolving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolutionContinually walking and standing in a fast paced environmentQualifications:Friendly and dynamic individual and loves working with peoplePrevious hotel or food service experience strongly preferred, but not requiredHigh school degree or equivalent requiredEarly morning, weekend, and holiday availabilityMust be able to work between the hours of 6am – 11amJob Type: Part TimeSalary: $17.50 plus tips and summer bonusBenefits:Hotel rooms 40.00 a night and additional cash tipsPhysical setting:Fast casual complimentary breakfastSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental pay types:TipsShift availability:Day/Morning Shift (Preferred)
