About the OpportunityManageMowed Ballard is a locally owned franchise of ManageMowed, a national commercial landscaping company. We exclusively serve businesses - apartment buildings, property management companies, HOAs, senior living facilities, and commercial properties across Seattle.As a franchise, we combine the structure and training of a proven national system with the pace and ownership of a small, growing local business. This is a ground-floor opportunity: we're making our first hire, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.The RoleYour job is to own the top of our sales funnel. That means finding commercial properties that need landscaping services, getting in front of the right decision makers, qualifying the opportunity, and handing off warm leads to the owner.This role develops real, transferable B2B sales skills - cold outreach, CRM management, prospect qualification, and relationship building - within a structured franchise system. It's part-time to start (10–20 hours/week), with genuine potential to grow as the business grows.What You'll DoCold call and email prospective commercial clients across SeattleCanvas the territory in person - apartment buildings, PM offices, business parksBuild your own prospect list through independent research and field workQualify leads and maintain accurate records in ServiceMinder CRMHand off qualified opportunities to the owner with clear context and next stepsMeet 1–2x per week with the owner for coaching, feedback, and pipeline reviewWhat We're Looking ForComfortable initiating conversations cold - by phone, email, and in personSelf-directed: you can identify targets, build a plan, and execute without being managed step by stepClear and professional communicator - credible and confident, not scriptedDetail-oriented enough to keep a CRM current and accurateMotivated by results and genuinely competitivePrior B2B sales, canvassing, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but we'll train the right personWhat Success Looks LikeIn your first 90 days, you'll complete onboarding and training through the ManageMowed system, begin systematically working the Seattle territory, generate your first qualified leads, and aim to contribute to at least one signed contract.
