The Cardiothoracic Surgeon locum tenens opportunity in Kalamazoo, MI:-Start date: July 14, 2018-Dates Needed: July 14-21, 2018 and December 22-29, 2018-Shift: 7a-7a, 24 hour call; some clinical responsibilities-Physician will do consults in the hospital which may generate a surgery that needs to be performed urgently or within a few days versus a scheduled case-Out of 10 days of call, physician may only get called in 1-2 times, but will average 3-4 phone calls a night-Patient mix: 60% adult, 40% geriatric-Average # of patients: 10 (clinic), 4 (hospital)-EMR: Cerner-Procedures: Aortic Valve Surgery, Mitral Valve Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency, MI license, BLS, ACLS Call for more details Assistance with credentialing Travel, Accommodations, Housing, Malpractice- PAID Sending an updated CV will be most effective in finding the right opportunity.
