Senior Logistics Specialist

Job Summary & Responsibilities
Manage incoming shipments: Receive, inspect, and verify the contents of deliveries against purchase orders received, to ensure accuracy and quality
Coordination with departments and vendors: Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve discrepancies, damages, and/or shortages
Keeping Receiving Problem log up to date
Researching items where there is inconsistency in the orders with Purchasing team
Work to receive all items dropped daily
Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of all received goods, update inventory systems, and ensure proper storage according to organizational standards.
Assisting with labeling and putting away parts
Emailing PO and tracking information to needed parts for IR and Expense PO
Completing Work Orderless, RMA's and Reworks Receipts accurately and timely.
Escalating Issue to Manager
Scan daily receipts for record keeping
Supply copies of scanned receipts upon request
Receiving
Track Hot Orders daily from the Receiving Log
Uncrating and unpacking sensitive high value material
Unloading semi-trailer
Transfer orders to shipping
Managing Receiving Team and providing feedback/coaching to members
Be primary contact for manager and problem items
Creating efficiencies for Receiving department
Assist with other duties as requested
Examples- Reorganizing warehouse, Cycle Counting, assisting packaging/crating in shipping
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred;
Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, MS Office, including Excel, and inventory software; familiarity with inventory management- Oracle preferred
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, operate standup forklift, and pallet jacks

Compensation & Growth
Base Salary Range:
$44,800.00 - $67,200.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
