Job Title: Senior Construction Specialist (Industrial Turnaround – Field Role)Location: Plaquemine, LA (Onsite)Duration – 2 monthsPay rate - $53/hour on W2Job Description:Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Specialist to support a major industrial turnaround project. This is a field-based, boots-on-the-ground role, serving as the Construction Manager’s eyes and ears on-site.This position is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on mechanical construction backgrounds who can monitor execution, identify risks early, and ensure work aligns with schedule and scope in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time field oversight of industrial mechanical construction activitiesMonitor work progress, sequencing, and adherence to scheduleIdentify and communicate risks, delays, and execution gaps proactivelyAct as a liaison between construction management and field teamsReview drawings, scope documents, and work packagesEnsure work is executed safely and in line with project requirementsCoordinate with multiple stakeholders and craft disciplines on-siteRequired Qualifications5+ years of industrial construction experience (10+ years preferred)Strong background in mechanical construction (piping, equipment, etc.)Prior hands-on field experience in roles such as:PipefitterWelderMillwrightSuperintendentMechanical / Maintenance TechnicianExperience in industrial turnarounds, shutdowns, or outagesBroad understanding of multi-discipline construction activitiesAbility to identify issues proactively and work independently in the fieldStrong communication and coordination skillsTechnical SkillsBasic proficiency with:Microsoft OutlookMS Office (Word, Excel)Reviewing PDFs and construction drawingsCertifications & RequirementsTWIC Card – Required (must be active at time of hire)OSHA Certification (can be supported during onboarding if needed)Valid driver’s licenseWork EnvironmentIndustrial plant / construction site environmentHigh-paced turnaround schedule with extended hours as neededRequires full-time presence in the fieldPPE RequirementsProvided by Client:RespiratorHard hatSafety glovesCandidate Must Provide:Steel-toe bootsFire Retardant Clothing (FRC)Additional InformationThis role is a temporary assignment supporting a surge in workload during a major facility turnaround.
