Job TitleSenior Platform Software Engineer Google Cloud Platform & Data PlatformsOverview / SummaryWe are seeking a Platform Software Engineer with expertise in Java or Python and strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to design, develop, and manage scalable applications and enterprise data platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience building microservices, data pipelines, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices supporting real-time and batch processing on Google Cloud PlatformBuild and implement service-oriented and microservices-based architecturesContribute to full-stack integration across front-end and back-end componentsLead data ingestion and integration from multiple data sources into enterprise data platformsUtilize Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions to support data platform solutionsImplement data governance, access controls, and security best practicesMonitor and optimize performance, scalability, and efficiency of data pipelines and storage solutionsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to establish engineering best practices and frameworksAutomate platform processes to improve reliability and operational efficiencyDesign and develop RESTful APIs for seamless service integrationSupport testing, deployment, and production releases following SDLC best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor s Degree5+ years of software development experience using Java or Python3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc3+ years of experience building microservices and REST APIs2+ years of experience with data pipelines and streaming technologies such as Apache Beam and KafkaExperience with full-stack development using React, Node.js, or similar technologiesHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and cloud deploymentsStrong experience with relational and NoSQL databasesExperience with Git and SDLC best practicesStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills#LI-Onsite #LI-AA1
