Job TitleSocial Media Intern (Summer)Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a creative Social Media Marketing Intern to support our Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations team in developing and executing content strategies across various platforms, helping to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.This role is ideal for a highly creative individual who understands social trends and has an eye for aesthetics. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, audience engagement, and creative production.This is an on-site position based in Chelmsford, MA and hourly rate for this role is $18/hr.What You’ll Do Here…Assist in identifying and refining target audiences across verticals and product linesConduct research on competitors and trending, high-performing contentReview and evaluate existing image and video asset libraries to identify gaps and opportunitiesHelp draft content strategies tailored to different platforms, marketing funnel stages, and audience segmentsSupport the ideation of creative content concepts and campaign themesCollaborate with designers or independently create social media assets using tools like CanvaAssist in setting up and managing paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTubeTrack and report on social media performance metricsAssist with ad-hoc projects in support of the Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations teamWhat We’re Looking For:A strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and brand storytellingPassion for creative design and digital trendsExcellent research and communication skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasksTeam player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn We Believe You Will Need…Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, or other design toolsFamiliarity with social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTubeExperience creating short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, YouTube shorts) is strongly desiredPrevious exposure to running or assisting with paid social media campaigns, preferred, but not requiredBasic understanding of marketing funnels and audience segmentationExperience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing (personal projects or past internships are a plus)Type of EmploymentStudent (Fixed Term)Posting End Date2026-06-30Certain roles at Axis require background checks, which means applicable verifications will be done in these recruitments.
